In In this case, Michelle wanted a straight bright smile, but she didn’t want to go through two years of wearing braces to do it. We were able to provide an alternative. Michelle’s a case in which, because of the extensive sculpting involved, I refer my patient to an oral surgeon to put the gum levels where we want them. The surgeon was able to make her gums perfectly even, with just the right scallop along the top of the teeth.

By getting the gums sculpted in the right places and putting crowns or veneers on the teeth after reshaping them, we made them look straight, even though the roots of the teeth beneath haven’t been changed. We were extremely pleased with the results, as she is a beautiful young woman..
